Compare two drugs

Side-by-side on the public record: approval status in the US and EU, how much trial work each has running, and where they are being studied. These pages do not compare efficacy — that belongs to the trials.

Each comparison is built from the same records as the rest of the site: the FDA application history, the EMA register, and every registered trial naming either molecule. What it shows is where two drugs stand relative to each other — which is approved where and for what, which has more development still running, how many participants are enrolled, and which conditions both are being studied in. A molecule with far more active phase 3 work is not necessarily better; more often it means a broader label is being pursued, or a later entrant is still building the evidence an earlier one already has.

What it will not tell you is which drug works better, or which is appropriate for anyone. Head-to-head efficacy is a question for the trial results and for a clinician. Endpoints from separately designed trials do not compare cleanly in any case.

By brand name

The same comparison keyed by the name on the box. Where two brands share a molecule — Ozempic and Wegovy, Mounjaro and Zepbound — the useful fact is that they are separate FDA applications, which is why they carry different approved indications and different supply records.
