Phase 2b Multicenter, Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo- and Active-Controlled, Parallel-Group Study to Assess the PD Response and Safety of Three Dose Levels of (PB1023) Injection Following 20 Weeks of Weekly SC Dosing in Adults With T2DM

NCT01658501 on ClinicalTrials.gov · last registry update 2015-12-07

An unusually large phase 2: 593 participants, more than double the 110 typical for the stage. Completed July 2013. liraglutide is already approved in the US for type 2 diabetes, so this is asking a further question rather than establishing the drug works at all.
